Is it true that college is just a true test of your patience and determination to make it to the end?

I just recently went back to school again to pursue a degree, but I've noticed that the work is not that difficult, it's just overwhelming ....it's just a real test of your patience to get the work done on time. ...and if the professor's see that, they'll pass you.Is it true that college is just a true test of your patience and determination to make it to the end?
I think at least the first 2 years are, when students are taking the more general, core courses. Freshman year is all about adjusting to college life and being away from family. Perhaps it is designed that way so that students will be ready for the stress of upper division courses. Is it true that college is just a true test of your patience and determination to make it to the end?
No - it's not just a test. There is also information that you are supposed to know when you get out.
I think college is where people just go to screw off. I cant wait to go to college.
