Is the saying, ';If something does not make sense, it is not true,'; true?

Judge Judy utters this claim all the time.Is the saying, ';If something does not make sense, it is not true,'; true?
I think that's a valid statement.....but......

if 1x0 = 0

and 2x0 = 0 ..... doesn't that mean 1=2 ???Is the saying, ';If something does not make sense, it is not true,'; true?
do you know why she is saying that ?

coz justice is blind...it only listens and adjudicates.

so your phrase works best with low and justice...but generally I don't think so.

Its a misquote originally from Mark Twain - ';Of course truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction has to makes sense.'; A lot of factual events (like when it rains fish or frogs) don't ';make sense'; but happen anyway.
it doesn't make sense but it can still trully happen. a person can perforn an act that doesn't mAke sense but the act, bottomline is, being performed.. so it follows it's genuine and true.

the idea or the thoughts may have been irrational and false but impressing these ideas into matter(actions), these false or irrational ideas, things that dont make sense b ecome materialized by a doer.
No, I can give you two examples: a bee should not be able to fly according to aerodynamics because it's wing span is not big enough to carry it's chubby little body around but it does. No one can give reason a duck can quack but it does.

God has created many wonders that do not make sense to us but they are still true. Basing truth on our ability to understand something is so vain, Judge Judy is on TV for a good reason...celebrity, she's an entertainer like Oprah and Dr. Phil.
No. Random things occure.
not true, it's just our mind that's not enough to make sense of it..
Fact is, we encounter events that defy explanation, that is, don't make sense, all the time. Our distant ancestors would have encountered far more instances of it, but if we think that is all behind us now we are sadly deluded. We're talking about 'does not satisfy reasonable criteria for likelihoood' (which will change over time) - so it would seem even the infallible Judge Judy can be wrong.

An instance of 'doesn't make sense' that comes to mind is the case of the five different victims of sexual attack all independently picking out the same man as their attacker from a police lineup. No possible doubt there, one would have thought. Turns out it wasn't him at all, because a late arriving DNA test led to an alternative suspect who readily admitted guilt. How is such a thing possible - but it happened.

Perhaps Judge Judy should be saying: 'If something appears not to make sense, then just possibly there is more to it than meets the eye. In which case we need to investigate whatever it is more deeply rather than summarily dismissing it as de facto nonsense'.
Judge Judy needs to study her logic. No, making sense does not define truth. Being factual and real determines truth.

Making sense is subjective. What makes sense to me may mystify you and vice versa. How could that possibly affect the truth? It cannot. What is true remains true whether we comprehend it or not.

No, Judge Judy is wrong in her pragmatism. The truth need not make sense to be true.
Things may or may not make sense based on what you know. This is different from what is the truth or fact.

For example, if you believe that the earth is flat, it may not make sense to you that a person can travel in one direction (say East) and end up back in the same spot. However, that does not make it any less true.
no just cuz somebody cant make sense of something doesnt make it untrue, there is always a chance that the could make sense of it someday.
