How can you determine whether an inequality will always be true or never true?

How can you determine it? And can you give me an inequality that will always be true and an inequality that will never be true? How can you determine whether an inequality will always be true or never true?
Always true: 0 %26lt; 1

Never true: 1 %26lt; 0

If the equality compares two constants you can see that it is either true or false and will always be so.

If it compares two variable expressions then you would have to use logic to determine conditions for the specific inequality.

-x %26lt; x (always true for x %26gt; 0; always false for x %26lt;= 0)
