Anyone finding hard that some scary movies are base a true story in the true event that had happen?

I was watching some scary movies, such *** Texas Chain Saw, and another one which I having an hard figuring out the name right now. It is said to be base ab on true story and others.

Do you all find it hard to believe that some of these scary movies may or could be base on a true scary?

Really? Texas Chain Saw? Who in the world would wear some one dead face like a mask and eat people? GGGEEEEEE!

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was inspired by Ed Gein. Ed Gein only killed 2 people but he dug up bodies from the cemetary and did things with the bodies.

Norman Bates from Psycho and Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs were also inspired by Ed Gein

The Amytiville Horror. For me, i'm still perplexed and confused if the house was really haunted or if there was a real murder that occurred in there. I know it's hard to believe sometimes that some movies are based on true stories, but what can we do...that's what the directors says. Truth is stranger than fiction.
I would never write scary movies off as totally fake unless they had some bizarre creatures or magic in it. Don't underestimate the world we live in and the sick people who inhabit it...as for your question as to who would eat people...you should investigate Jeffery Dahmer a bit.
Its pretty amazing but that's what makes them REALLY SCARY!!!

here's some good True Story movies:

Mothman Prophecies (true story)

Hannibal/Silence of the Lambs (true story)

The Exorcist (True story)

Texas Chain Saw Massacre (true story)

The Shining (true story)

Amityville Horror (true story)

An American Haunting (true story)

An American Crime (true story)

The Exorcism of Emily Rose (true story)

Rosemary's Baby (true story)

Zodiac (true story)
well Blair Witch was a marketing scam

Texas Chainsaw has like a million sequels so chances are its loosey based on the killer not the victims

The Strangers is tottaly fake

you know most horrors are not real

oh yeah! member WOLF CREEK, that was a total scam and was obviously fake,...
I know!! Sometimes i think movies like that have ALOT of exagerrations, to make the plot interesting thats why producers use the clever ';based on a true story'; instead of ';a true story';...
